If the petrol level drops to zero and the car stalls, there is a way to reach the nearest gas station without pushing the car. Usually, when the car stalls, there is still 3–4 litres of gas left in the gas tank. However, the pump can no longer reach this level.
Take a rubber ball or a thick plastic bag and pour about a litre of any liquid into it. Tie a strong rope to the bag end. Very carefully lower the structure into the tank, fix the free end of the rope firmly on the gas tank cap. Thus, you will raise the petrol level and drive to the nearest gas station.
